During the three days, we learned from industry leaders about what's taking place which includes the latest information on:

  • sustainability,

  • innovation,

  • what's happening with different clothing types.

In addition, we heard from industry leaders talk about the latest information that's taking place in the industry.

  • You can also focus on different Tax Law exemptions that they may have for particular countries to help you bring your products and bring your supplies and bring your fabric into the U.S. and into their places tax-free.

So we're covering, from the beginning to the end. So stay tuned and we'll make it actually something real and something educational, something exciting for you, and your business and make your dreams come true.

Interview with Adam of Custom Furs

"Unlike massive manufacturers, we're more handcrafted, and handled by skilled workers."

  • Question: What's your most popular type of fur?

  • Answer: This one is the classic one. It can keep you warm and give you the look.

  • Question: Do you come to Texworld every year?

  • Answer: I've been here twice, this year is the third time.

  • Question: What brings you to Texworld?

  • Answer: My main business is in New York.

  • Question: And then while here are deals usually made or orders usually made?

  • Answer: Yes! And guess what? You know what the most hot and popular brand has a set price at? For this like $4,000. When the English and when the European people came to this land. One reason is for the fur. So I think the U.S. has a lot of history wearing fur.

Global Fashion Outlook

When you're in the fashion industry, it is important to realize that you are in an international business. For example, you have New York Fashion Week, you have the Milan Fashion Week, the Paris Fashion Week. You also have some of the fashion shows in Asia.

In addition, you have the manufacturing and the sourcing of your products from Asia as well. So by being in fashion, it is important to actually have a global outlook outside of your city, outside of your neighborhood, and actually just learn as much as you can take part in this global world, to bring quality pieces, quality prices to your consumer and actually be the best brand that you can possibly be. You can really be in men's fashion. You can be in athleisure. You can be really anything. It really just takes time to actually learn and grow and be the best you possible.

Always learn, never stopped learning, never stopped mastering your craft because this an important to actually learn how to cut and sew fabric, meet the suppliers, get cheaper prices, get better quality and more premium prices so you and your brand can grow as you provide value to your customers.

Thank you so much for reading our coverage of Textworld USA Apparel Sourcing. I hope, during this time you learned quite a bit about:

  • sustainability efforts,

  • innovation,

  • trade shows, and

  • what's taking place in the fashion industry.
